Yes. Private health fund rebates apply to acupuncture treatments and Chinese Medicine consultation if you have the extras cover in your policy. Check with your health fund to see if you are eligible.

An appointment will includes consultation where questions will be asked, and will assess your tongue and pulse. Then come the acupuncture treatment or herbal prescription and dispensing. If you have any relevant reports (X-ray and imagine reports, tests done from your doctor etc). Please bring them in for references.

Acupuncture may take around 60 -90 minutes for a session depends on the complexity. Herbal medicine takes about 30-45 minutes.

Not really. It may have a little stinging feeling for less than a second. Different sensations such as soreness, numbness, distending, heaviness, cool and warmth may be felt, which is a bit wired but pleasant and very relaxing.

It depends on your preference and comfortable. Acupuncture, herbal medicines, Cupping, Moxibusion, Gua-sha (spooning) are the different modalities for treating different conditions.

This depends on the severity and duration of your condition, age, your body constitution and other factors. Will discuss upon your first visit. Generally, suggest once or twice a week at beginning. Gradually as your condition improves, treatment will reduced to once a week or per fortnight, then longer until your condition is resolved.Certain treatment will be arranged at different stages and phases of the body (eg. Period issues, fertility & IVF).

Yes. This is actually a good time to come. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine as well as cupping/spooning has been traditionally used for common cold or flu symptoms for thousands of years.

·Do have a meal earlier in the day before coming. It is best neither hungry nor too full before an acupuncture treatment. ·Don't exhaust yourself immediately before / after your appointment. ·Don't brush or scrape your tongue coating ·Don't drink or eat anything that may color your tongue. ·Dress in loose, comfortable clothing that provides easy access to arms and legs is desirable.
